Synopsis

GIULIA tells the poignant story of a 70-year-old widow who, after the death of her husband Ettore, sets out on an emotional journey of self-discovery. Living in their Toulouse home, she uncovers old letters and music, learning of Ettore’s long-hidden past with a mysterious lover, Lino. In her search for truth, Giulia begins composing her own music, reclaiming her creativity and voice. As she confronts Ettore’s secrets and her strained relationship with her daughter Agnès, Giulia finds healing through music, ultimately premiering her work at the Toulouse Music Hall. Giulia is a powerful exploration of love, loss, and reinvention.
