Fiction
When Jean, a 55 year old police officer, finds his son Maxime and his partner dead in a hotel room, the autopsy reveals an inexplicable seven minute gap between the two deaths. This suspended time opens a crack Jean cannot close. As he crosses into the world his son kept beyond his reach the night, the BISOU club, bodies in circulation he draws closer to Fabien and begins to inhabit a territory where grief merges with desire, silence, and what was never spoken. 7 Minutes follows this slow displacement, where loss forces Jean to confront not only his love for his son, but the way he looked at him and at himself.
