Early development
Fiction
When Ettore dies, seventy-year-old Giulia is left alone in the house they shared in Toulouse. Silence settles in until unfinished scores, recordings, and instruments begin to reclaim the space. As she returns to musical composition, Giulia reorganizes her days through sound, through rehearsal, and through the body in action. At this stage of her life, the memory of her husband remains incomplete, haunted by a story she was never fully able to know. Giulia traces this quiet displacement, where the act of creation becomes a tangible way to begin again, even when life seemed closed.
